Section 15 of Contract Act 1950

B owes RM1,000 to C.B orders A to credit RM1,000 in his books, but C does not accept the agreement. B still owes RM1,000 to C and no new contract has been signed. B does not pay within a week. A`s promise of delivery does not have to be kept and B must pay damages.

35. If an event on which a contract depends is deemed impossible if it concerns the future conduct of a living person (3), nothing in this article shall be deemed to legalize a transaction related to horse racing prohibited by written law. 89.
